Meet Mieke

Mikaela Angelica “Mieke” Villablanca graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of the Philippines and has spent the last 11 years practising across soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, emergency medicine, anesthesia, and critical care. She believes veterinary medicine is equal parts science, detective work, and heart — she listens closely to pet stories, pieces together the clues, and builds treatment plans that protect the human-animal bond. Mieke thrives on mobile visits that keep pets calm in their own homes and on guiding families with practical, compassionate advice.

Fun Facts About Dr. Villablanca

At home, she lives with Cheddar Bob (a Chihuahua with an award-winning side-eye), Mr. Tubbs (plant-muncher, cuddle expert), and Mr. Linky (chirper, back-napper, slow-blink specialist). When she’s not caring for animals, she’s puzzling or binge-watching her way through the latest series. Her favorite motto comes from Ted Lasso: “Just listen to your gut, and on your way down to the gut, check in with your heart.”
