Meet Sara

From the time she could walk (probably toward a furry creature), Sara knew she wanted to work with animals. At first, she thought she’d be a vet—until she discovered the truth: the nurses have all the fun (and most of the treats).

Sara got her start at Montrose Veterinary CARE in Houston, Texas, and with 20 years of veterinary experience under her belt, she’s basically the Beyoncé of animal care—minus the backup dancers (unless you count her pets).

Her specialty? Working with pets who think the vet is public enemy #1. Sara loves creating safe, stress-free spaces for animals with behavior challenges. Her Fear Free, patience-packed approach means even the most skeptical furballs have a chance to feel comfortable and cared for.

What lights her up? Watching animals bounce back from illness or injury—seeing them heal, thrive, and maybe even throw in a few tail wags or happy zoomies for good measure. She’s big on honesty and clear communication with pet parents too, because when owners understand what’s happening, everyone wins (especially the pets).

Fun Facts About Sara

At home, Sara is the proud ruler of what she calls her “mini farm”—a bustling household of 2 dogs, 5 cats, and enough kibble and litter to keep a small pet store in business (seriously, she goes through 80 pounds of food and 40 pounds of litter every month!). If you’re wondering, yes: the fur is everywhere, and no: she wouldn’t have it any other way.

She loves working with Let’s MoVET because seeing pets in the comfort of their own homes changes everything—less stress, more snuggles, and no cold exam tables in sight.

Sara brings her positive energy, teamwork, and a “let’s get it done” attitude to every visit. Her motto?
