Veterinary Technician

All About Sara

Sara has an extensive experience in the veterinary world. She is a veterinary technician, receptionist and has been a manager of clinics and shelters. As she always says it, she has it all. But what keeps her in this industry is the chance to build bonds and earn the animals’ trust. She considers this as the best feeling in the world because it keeps her job fulfilling, especially now that she can also do it at the comfort of the pet’s home. Sara’s goal is to alleviate the fear and anxiety of owners with pets having a medical problem by making sure to deliver trusted medicine and care, mixed with compassion a lot of kindness.

Sara’s hobbies include running, exercising and weight lifting. This girl can carry bullmastiffs as if they’re just chihuahua’s (we are not joking!). She also brings her blind pet, Cosita to hiking during her off days.

Sara’s Responsibilities

Sara’s role is mainly taking care of our patients, making sure that they receive the treatment and care that Dr V recommended. She makes sure that owners were thoroughly explained of the plans and follow ups. Sara is also tasked to help with coordinating patient care when clients call scheduling appointments and addressing any concern that pet parents have. She is also responsible in supporting daily flows and operations, acting as support of extra manpower is needed out in the field.

Fun Facts About Cosita

Cosita is Sara’s shelter rescue. In Spanish, her name means “little thing”, but she is packed with a personality of a big dog. Cost stays in our office helping out Sara do her daily tasks. She is very quiet and just supports her mom on her own office chair. She may not have eyeballs, but this girl is a serious hiker, She likes going on long hikes with her sister, a 70lb PitBull mix. She likes snacking on carrots and following Sara around from room to room. At night, Cosita turns into a master snuggler with Eleanor, a senior cat who also lives in the same home.
