If there’s one thing Vanessa believes, it’s this: animals may not speak our language, but they’re always telling us something—if we’re paying attention.

With over 9 years of hands-on experience, Vanessa has built her career right where she thrives most—on the clinic floor, learning side-by-side with veterinarians and seasoned technicians in both general practice and mobile veterinary care. Her journey has been fueled by a deep love for animals, but even more so by a calling to care for them in their most vulnerable moments.

She has a special interest in exotics, in-patient hospital care, and internal medicine cases, and she’s known for her patient, observant, and low-stress approach. Whether it’s a nervous first visit or a critical hospitalization, Vanessa meets each patient exactly where they are—calmly, gently, and with intention.

Her superpower?
Reading animals—especially cats—within minutes. Even the shy or “spicy” ones tend to warm up to her faster than expected (she swears it’s a gift, but we think it’s just her magic).

Vanessa finds the most joy in watching patients turn the corner—those tough cases that come in really sick and slowly start to feel like themselves again. Being part of that transformation is what keeps her heart in the work.

With pet parents, she’s honest, clear, and consistent, making sure they feel confident and supported every step of the way. With her team, she’s dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive, always keeping a close eye on the little things—because in medicine, the little things matter.
